Donation Refund Policy

If you change your mind about contributing to South Dakota CARES for any reason, we are happy to honor your decision, as long as you request a refund (return of contribution) within 15 days of the date on which you made the contribution.

To request a refund, call 800-592-1852. Refunds will be issued as either a credit to the credit card used for the original contribution or by check if the item was paid for with a check, money order or cash.

Privacy Policy

Donor/Customer Information: Information is collected at the time of donation or sale as part of completing the donation or sale. Donor or customer lists are neither sold nor given to third parties. South Dakota CARES does make use of donor and customer information in sending out notices of new fundraising events and in its annual appeals.

Credit Card Transactions: Credit card transactions are processed through a secure site run by Merchant Services. Information from these transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes only. This information is not released to third parties.
