Helping SD CARES can be done in a variety of ways.
Perhaps you have durable medical equipment such as walkers, canes, crutches or wheelchairs that you no longer need. They can be donated to SD CARES for the Recycle For Life program by bringing them to one of our centers. You will receive a donation form to use for tax purposes.
Unused hearing aids can be donated for refurbishing and distributing to those in need through the Hearing Aid Lending Program.
If you are concerned about our farm youth, a contribution to the Save Our Farm Youth (SOFY) program can help sponsor a camp where the youth are taught about all the dangers with farm work and how to avoid them.
Contributions can be made to be used in the work of Daisy House.
All contributions and donations are used in South Dakota to help South Dakotans.
If you wish to volunteer your time, talent and expertise, please contact your local office and ask what needs they may have.
You can also help SD CARES by participating in any of the fundraising events held around the state.
You are an integral part of SD CARES. Without you, the services could not be provided.
